Background

For nearly three decades, Casa Mia did things the old-school way. Early mornings, packed market stalls, familiar faces, and recipes passed down through generations. It worked – until growth started asking for more than physical presence.

Being present in 50+ markets across the UK came with a cost: rising manpower, expensive setups, and a hard limit on how far the brand could really go. New cities were out of reach. Growth depended on showing up in person. And digital existed – but only on the surface.

The Reality Check

Casa Mia wasn’t struggling. But the business model was. A non-ecommerce website. An Instagram feed that documented products but didn’t drive demand. No SEO, no email, no WhatsApp, no paid media. The brand had loyal customers – but no way to reach them consistently outside the market stall.

The Shift

This wasn’t about “going online.” It was about changing how the business grows.
